These are cookies that we use to measure the use of the website for, among other things, the registration of repeat visits, which segments of the web shop are most frequently visited and how a user navigates through the site. America Today has set up Google Analytics in a privacy-friendly manner, which means that America Today has concluded a processing agreement with Google on the basis of which Google may only use the information for the above analysis purposes for America Today.  Google does not store or otherwise record IP addresses.  If, despite this, you are against this Google use, you can turn off the Google Analytics cookies by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.  If you would like more information about how Google handles your personal data, please refer to this page from Google.

A/B testing

A/B testing involves showing two or more versions of a page (A and B) to different visitors to measure which one performs better. This helps optimize the user experience. This could include a different layout or formatting, for example.

  • showing the last viewed products;
  • showing the last viewed target group page (women / men / girls / boys).
Cookie use by third parties

America Today has no influence on the use of cookies by third parties, except service providers deployed by America Today for the analysis of our own site.

Tracking and re-targeting cookies

These cookies make it possible to register your visit to websites to help determine your interests. It can be seen if you click on an advertisement and third parties can then show you advertisements based on your surfing behavior.

Affiliate cookies

Cookies to keep track of which advertisements lead to the purchase of a certain product, so that the one showing the advertisement (the affiliate) can receive a reward from the advertiser.

Advertisement cookies

America Today makes use of advertising campaigns that involve America Today advertisements (text/banners/etc.) being placed on external sites. For this purpose, and if you give permission to do so, cookies will be placed on your PC that will enable external websites to register your visit in order to show you more targeted advertisements or, if you have already purchased something, to show absolutely no advertisements at all.
